Eudora Welty Research Fellowship

 

Description

The Eudora Welty Foundation and the Mississippi Department of Archives and History (MDAH) are delighted to announce the 2025 Eudora Welty Research Fellowship to encourage and support research using the Eudora Welty Collection and related materials at the MDAH. This competitive fellowship of $5,000 will be awarded to one student enrolled in a graduate or doctoral program at an accredited college or university to conduct research during summer 2025. The stipend may be used to cover travel, housing, and other expenses during the recipient’s two-week minimum stay in Jackson, Mississippi.
