John F. and Anna Lee Stacey Scholarship Fund, The

Description

In accordance with the will of the late Anna Lee Stacey, a trust fund has been created for the education of young men and women who aim to make art their profession. The purpose of the Scholarship, in accordance with the clear stipulation of the Stacey's will, is to foster high standard in the study of form, color, drawing, painting, design, and technique, as these are expressed in modes showing patent affinity with the classical tradition of Western culture. In general, the recipient may use the funds granted them in any way they wish to further their art education along conservative lines, but the Committee reserves the right to make recommendations. Each successful competitor will be required to submit a brief quarterly report together with digital images on a disk of their work and a more complete report at the termination of the scholarship.
